Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti is targeting Chelsea defender David Luiz.
Ancelotti is ready to offer Chelsea misfit Luiz a lifeline at Napoli, says the Mirror.
Former Blues boss Ancelotti has replaced Stamford Bridge-bound Maurizio Sarri at the Serie A club and has included Luiz's name on a list of transfer targets.
Luiz, 31, is not wanted by Chelsea after losing his place in Antonio Conte's team last season and then being left out of Brazil's squad for the World Cup.
He returned to the club two years ago from Paris St Germain in a £34million deal and helped Conte land the Premier League title in the Italian's first campaign.
A switch to Italy after a career that has seen him win titles in Portugal, France and England would suit Luiz if a deal could be done on the remaining year of his current £120,000-a-week contract.
