Napoli are closing in on Fiorentina fullback Manuel Pasqual.

The left-sided defender is fed-up with the lack of regular action he's seen this season and is angling for a move away in January.

On Napoli's interest, Pasqual's agent, Gastone Rizzato, told calciomercato.com: "The Azzurri are doing very well and the team is very important, but for now there is nothing really concrete.

"Pasqual is one that can play in any team and his strength is recognized by all."
