Napoli sports chief Pierpaolo Marino has welcomed the capture of Independiente striker German Denis.

"Many Argentinians have made a difference in the history of Napoli," said Marino. "Denis scored 27 goals this season and has also debuted with the Argentina national team.

"I would have seen at least 25 games of Denis', he is a centre-forward with the right physical presence."
