Napoli chief Riccardo Bigon has dismissed criticism from Juventus over last week's celebrating of their 2-0 win.

Juve GM Beppe Marotta accused Napoli of acting like a "provincial club".

"Everyone experiences emotions the way they think is best," replied Bigon on Sky Sport Italia.

"The passion of the Neapolitans is only to be admired. It should be imitated, not condemned.

"Why did I attend Antonio Conte's post-match interviews? I have been going behind the cameras to watch the interviews for 10 years.

"For someone in my line of work, it's important to see how people deal with defeat. It was particularly interesting to see how Conte behaved, seeing as he loses so rarely."
