Napoli sports director Riccardo Bigon has cooled talk of moving for Sao Paulo striker Alexandre Pato.
Pato was linked with Napoli early yesterday.
"No, there is absolutely no possibility that Pato will arrive at Napoli," shrugged Bigon.
Pato's agent Gilmar Veloz told CalcioNapoli24: "I can say immediately that it would be a very difficult situation, as it's very unlikely Sao Paulo would release him.
"The club worked so hard to get Pato and will do everything to keep hold of him if there is interest from a European club.
"I never heard from Napoli, if the club is interested then they know who to speak to, but I can already say from now it'd be tough..."
