Napoli are chasing Atalanta midfielder Luca Cigarini.
The Azzurri are moving for Cigarini, who is in co-ownership with Parma, after receiving little encouragement in their bid for Udinese's Gaetano D'Agostino.
Napoli are willing to put aside £8 million for a fee and wages to sign Cigarini.
