Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri hailed Edinson Cavani after his hat-trick in their 4-3 victory over Lazio.
The Azzurri came back from 2-0 down to edge the seven goal thriller.
Mazzari declared: "Even when 2-0 down we still believed and I think at the end we deserved the victory. We went behind at the first Lazio effort, so for a while it seemed like the game was cursed.
"When you are trailing in such an important game with so much expectation, it's not easy to react. We made a few tactical mistakes, especially on the second goal, so we've got to fix those uncharacteristic errors.
"Cavani was exceptional. It's a shame he got that pointless yellow card and will be suspended against Bologna, but we'll have him for the next six games."
