Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri insists their hopes of Champions League qualification remain remote after drawing 1-1 with Lazio.
Sergio Floccari had opened the scoring with a precise header, but Marek Hamsik earned a point through his delightful chip.
"We weren't as sharp as usual, but we have no specific important objective to hit this season," Mazzarri said.
"We are just trying to do our best in every single game. Our performance was also a little less exhilarating thanks to Lazio's efforts."
The Partenopei have dropped down to sixth place and could also be leapfrogged by Juventus this evening.
"It was a slow start, we conceded early on and allowed the Biancocelesti to take the initiative. We were distracted for those three or four minutes and the game was uphill from there."
