Napoli boss Rafa Benitez was delighted with hat-trick man Gonzalo Higuain in victory over Lazio.

Pipita bagged his first Serie A treble to sink Lazio 4-2, fighting back from a Senad Lulic opener.

"I saw a good reaction from the team and that's what we want to see. There were four goals, Higuain got three and Mertens a spectacular one," Benitez told Sky Sport Italia.

"We do still need to improve on the way we control the game after taking the lead."
