Napoli have a deal in place for Valencia defender Adil Rami.
Rafa Benitez has made no secret his squad are a centre-half short and Tuttosport says Napoli have had a bid for Rami accepted by Valencia.
Benitez maintains a good relationship with Los Che and has seen off competition from England and France to clinch an agreement for Rami.
The defender, meanwhile, still must agree personal terms for the move to be rubberstamped.
