Napoli boss Rafa Benitez has defended his tactics this season.

Benitez was asked if Gonzalo Higuain and Duvan Zapata should be played as a front pairing.

"Having more attackers doesn't mean you attack better. Having Duvan and Higuain together would weaken the team behind them.

"We got 104 goals last year with only Higuain.

"As I've said, the numbers are good, but we have to be more clinical and there's also some luck involved because goalkeepers have made great saves against us."
