Napoli are among clubs on red alert over the availability of Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano. Barca coach Tata Martino admits Mascherano, who has also been linked with Manchester City and Arsenal, could leave in January.
"Javier dos not fully understand his role in the Blaugrana project. His departure in January is a possibility," Martino is quoted by Sportmediaset.
"He could leave in the next transfer window."
Mascherano played with Napoli coach Rafa Benitez at Liverpool and the Spaniard would welcome the chance to work again with the midfielder.
