Napoli have completed the signing of Udinese striker Fabio Quagliarella.

"I await the day of my official unveiling," the Italy international told Sky Italia. "It will be wonderful.

"Everyone asked me about it and I played the waiting game, but now I am overjoyed. I will play in my city with the team I have always supported.

"Every Neapolitan would like to play in their own city. I am the second after Paolo Cannavaro," Quagliarella explained.

"I have always spoken of my desire, it wasn't a secret that I wanted to one day wear the blue jersey and finally I have done it."
