Napoli after Man Utd's Fellaini

Italian club Napoli are believed to be making a move for Manchester United flop Marouane Fellaini.

The Guardian reports that the Naples outfit are in negotiations with United regarding the possible sale of the 26-year old Belgium international.

Fellaini joined the Red Devils from Everton for £27.5million last summer in what many regard to be a panic buy by David Moyes who at the time had left Goodison Park for Old Trafford.

The report suggests that Fellaini could either move permanently or on loan but if it happens to be less temporary, the ex-Toffees star could cost Partenopei around £15m, although his wages of £100,000-a-week may be a stumbling block.

Former Standard Liege midfielder Fellaini scored 33 goals in 177 appearances for Everton before moving to United where he failed to hit the back of the net in 21 outings.
