Napoli ace Dries Mertens has been voted Belgium player of the year.

The award was decided by votes from Belgian fans.

The 29-year-old has 22 goals and 13 assists for the Partenopei in the calendar year, including an incredible 11 in 10 starts in the current campaign.

Mertens was followed in second place by Eden Hazard of Chelsea, and the third spot was taken up by Roma's Radja Nainggolan.
