Nantes have told FIGC to forget about Claudio Ranieri as new Italy coach.
The former Roma boss hasn't ruled out his interest in the job.
“He answered quite logically," Waldemir Kitta shrugged, speaking to L'Équipe.
“He's intelligent, he has an Italian heart, he's a top class Coach and it's normal that, at the level he's at, if it came up at this stage of his career, he'd have questions to ask.
“For the moment though the question hasn't come up.
“I think Claudio is happy here and that he respects the contract he signed with us. Then, of course, anything can happen!
“I don't want another Sergio Concecao situation [the Portuguese left after six months to join Porto].
“If he asked me I'd tell him he has a contract that has to be honoured."
