Vancouver Whitecaps have taken South Korean striker Lee Yong-jae on trial.
The 22-year old is set to leave French club FC Nantes this summer and Whitecaps head coach Martin Rennie was keen to run the rule over him.
"He's got good technique, he's got good pace, he's got good size," Rennie said.
"He's played at a high level, and he speaks a bit of English, which is good as well, but we're just giving him a chance, now's a chance for us to analyze how he does."
Seoul-born Lee became apparent to Vancouver as he shares an agent with Whitecaps veteran Lee Young-pyo.
