Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji is undergoing a Chelsea medical today.
The Daily Mail says the 6ft 4ins Senegal international has been courted by Celtic, Southampton, Newcastle, Leicester and Sunderland this summer but has been holding out for a bigger club.
Chelsea are pursuing various options as they look to strengthen a defence that has looked vulnerable in recent weeks.
And according to Nantes, Djilobodji is in London undergoing a medical before signing a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge in a deal worth £4million.
Nantes representative Franck Kita has confirmed an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Djilobodji, speaking to France Football.
