Manchester United winger Nani shrugged off his weekend car accident to make a telling contribution in their FA Cup win over Reading. Nani's Bentley Continental was damaged when it was hit by an unmarked police car involved in a high-speed chase in Stockport, and the police driver has been suspended while the incident is investigated.
The United winger preferred to dwell on his contribution to a win that keeps United on target for a Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup Treble.
He said: "It was not a big crash - things like that happen in life, and I'm happy that I had nothing to worry about.
"I scored the first goal and I am pleased to get an assist to help the team to this big win."
