Nani has credited Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo over the ease with which he's settled in England.

"Having Cristiano around has really helped me," said the Amadora-born player.

"At the start, it was quite hard and I didn't speak English at all. But when I didn't understand something, he could tell me what has been said.

"I am very good friends with Cristiano and have been for a long time. But the entire squad gets on and now, I speak a little bit of English, we joke all the time."
