Nani expects Man Utd to be fine without injured players

Manchester United winger Nani believes the team can cope without some of their injured players.

The likes of Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Chris Smalling are all sidelined for various amounts of time but the Portugal international is confident the Red Devils can bounce back from last night's disappointing 2-2 draw with Benfica when they take on Newcastle United on Saturday even if these four are missing.

"We are missing a couple of players every game, which is not good for any team, but we will be fine and the players will come back," he said.

"We have been playing good football and have to forget this and think about the way we have been playing.

"The way we haven't conceded goals and won games is important. We'll try to do that in the next game against Newcastle."

Cleverley and Smalling are likely to be out until December but both Rooney and Welbeck could be involved when the Magpies come to Old Trafford this weekend.
