Nani believes he has proved his worth at Manchester United and feels at home after spending a year alongside the Old Trafford stars.
"It's exceeded my expectations and those of many people," he told Maisfutebol.
"From whom? There were those who said that I was not the player for Manchester United.
"I think what I did was enough to show my value.
"It is fantastic when I play with stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, (Ryan) Giggs, (Paul) Scholes, (Wayne) Rooney. I am also a star when I hear my name in the middle of those."
Nani does not feel he will automatically replace Ryan Giggs now the Welshman stands on the brink of surpassing Sir Bobby Charlton's appearance record.
"Let's see when he stops playing," he explained. "For now, I think he could even go on another two years.
"He is an excellent player and a great colleague."
