Nancy defender Joel Sammi is wanted by Blackburn Rovers.

The People says Blackburn boss Steve Kean is looking at Nancy defender Sami - after a tip by his mate Chris Samba.

The 26-year-old Congo international could turn up at Rovers on a pre-season trial - with his friend Samba pushing his case.

Sammi was at Leeds United for a short spell back in 2003 and went on to have a trial with Bolton Wanderers.
