Steven Naismith is confident Rangers can snaffle a fourth straight Scottish Premier League title this season.
'Gers remained nine points clear of second-placed Motherwell and ten ahead of Old Firm rivals Celtic following their 2-0 win at Heart of Midlothian yesterday and although Naismith was on the scoresheet, he laid praise on the team's defence who have conceded just four goals in 12 outings this campaign.
"Defensively we have been very good. But ever since I came to Rangers, that's what our team has been based on," he said.
"When I first arrived we had the likes of Davie Weir and Carlos Cuellar together, then Madjid Bougherra came in and played with Davie.
"Now we've got Dorin (Goian) and Boca (Carlos Bocanegra) who have came in and done a great job.
"A lot of the success we've had has definitely been down to our defending more than anything else."
