Injured Rangers forward Steven Naismith has likened the club's star striker Nikica Jelavic to Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov.
As speculation regarding Jelavic's future at Ibrox continues to circle, Naismith has made his ideas on the issue felt, saying he is a player who 'Gers will not be able to replace because of his pure goalscoring abilities.
"He's perhaps not been at his best these past few months, but he's still a big player for us.
"No one else in the league could have scored some of the goals he's scored.
"You're never going to replace a player like that and for us, fighting for a title, a player like him can make all the difference.
"If Jela was to move on in this window it would be a massive loss to us.""Jela is like Dimitar Berbatov, in the way you don't think he's going to get on the end of balls but he ends up getting there and scoring goals out of nothing. He's a quality player," Naismith said.
