Naismith admits self-doubt in early days with Everton

Steven Naismith says he now feels he 'belongs' at Everton.

The Scotland striker has been outstanding in the opening weeks of the new season.

He told the Mail on Sunday: "When I first moved, I'd definitely say I felt a bit inferior. You watch these guys from afar. But when I started training, you look around the squad and for the first couple of months at the club you're thinking: 'Phew, should I really be here?'

"That kind of thing. But as you get more comfortable around them - on and off the field - things begin to go for you; you start believing and then do your natural thing. I feel I belong now."
