Luis Suarez's former club Nacional will be due a windfall if Liverpool sell him this summer.
Suarez's former club in Uruguay stands to pick up a 1million 'solidarity payment' if the striker's rumoured transfer comes to fruition this summer.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with Real Madrid in recent days, saying that he is ready for a "change of environment".
If the Uruguay striker's rumoured 47million release clause is met, Marca reports that Suarez's former club Nacional will receive between 2.5% and 3% of that fee, as a solidarity payment for developing the player.
Nacional chief Jose Fuentes said: "I hope it happens for Luis, who is a great player and deserves it. We will be able to pay our budget for one or two months."
