Former FC Twente midfielder Nacer Chadli is thrilled with his move Tottenham.

The Belgium international signed for Spurs last month.

Chadli told the club's website: "I'm very happy. I was expecting a good transfer this summer and I've got it. I'm very happy to join Spurs and I will do my best to make the fans and the club happy.

"I'm happy that Jan and Mousa are already here, they can help me a lot. All the guys are nice guys, so that's made it easier for me to come into the group.

"It was always a dream for me to play in the Premier League and to play for the right club. Some clubs wanted me this summer but Tottenham Hotspur was the best choice for me and the best club, a club I can fit in to. I played here three years ago for Twente and I was really impressed with the club, the stadium and all the players."
