Nacer Chadli is happy he chose to stay with Tottenham last season.
The Belgium winger has become first-choice at Spurs under manager Mauricio Pochettino this term.
However, he revealed: "Last season was the most difficult of my professional life.
"I decided to reflect after the World Cup and chose to stay at Tottenham. It would've been easy to leave and maybe later I'd regret it.
"In the qualifying rounds of the Europa League, I finally got my chance. I had to prove myself, I thought."
