NAC confident Man City won't recall Aro Muric

Manchester City are unlikely to recall Aro Muric from his loan at NAC Breda.

The Manchester Evening News says NAC are not expecting Muric to be recalled by City after injury to Claudio Bravo.

Pep Guardiola has a problem with the Chilean ruled out with a long-term problem, with no senior back-up for Ederson.

Daniel Grimshaw, 20, is the club's third-choice goalkeeper for the season but has not played a competitive game while Joe Hart and Angus Gunn were allowed to leave for Burnley and Southampton respectively in permanent deals this summer.

There was a suggestion that Muric, effectively a year ahead of Grimshaw in his development having trained with and shadowed the first team last year, could be brought back from the Eredivisie to reinforce the squad.
