Dutch side NAC Breda are on the verge of securing the services of David Faupala, according to reports from L'Equipe.

Faupala is considered as one of the most promising young players in the Manchester City squad at the moment and the 19-year-old managed to make an impression for the first team by scoring in the 5-1 FA Cup defeat against Chelsea last season.

Given the intense competition for places at City though, it looks very unlikely that the French forward will get a chance for regular first team football at the Etihad Stadium this season and as a result, Faupala has reportedly been allowed to join Eredivisie side NAC on a season-long loan.
