Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley says N'Golo Kante will be key for Chelsea tomorrow at Manchester City.
The France international has played every minute of Premier League football to help Blues to the top of the table, chipping in with one goal.
Antonio Conte's men go up against title contenders Manchester City in tomorrow's early kick-off, and Curbishley believes Kante will be the deciding factor.
When asked who the key man for Chelsea will be, Curbishley told Sky Sports: "I'm going for [N'Golo] Kante in the middle of the park.
"When you get top teams playing against each other you want to try and nullify the opposition as much as you can.
"I think if [Antonio] Conte decides that perhaps he's going put Kante on [David] Silva or [Kevin] de Bruyne or whoever's going to play in the No 10 role to him dictating and seeing that pass in the final third.
"He's been excellent, he's been a fantastic signing."
