David N'Gog insists he is ready to give his best for Bolton after a tough start at the Reebok Stadium.
The former Liverpool striker admits he has begun slowly with some subpar performances in his 10 Premier League appearances for the Trotters but feels he is now ready to deliver for Owen Coyle.
"I'm sure before I haven't been 100 per cent fit but I've worked with the staff here and now it's a lot better.
"It also always takes time to settle down with a new team and new team-mates, but I feel good here and I'm optimistic for the future.
"As a team we all have to take responsibility and it may be that we are looking for someone to lead that. But it's one thing to talk, but it's another to do it on the pitch.
"We all have to take the responsibility to go forward. It's not going to be easy and it might be a cliche, but we have to work hard.""It has been frustrating because, of course, I want to help the team to win," he told the Bolton News.
