Hull City are refusing to comment on reports that Nick Barmby has been suspended by the club for comments he made to the media. Barmby only took charge of City last November following Nigel Pearson's departure to Leicester.

The former England international was unable to guide City into the Championship play-offs with the Tigers finishing in eighth spot and five points outside the top six.
