An English club has failed with a bid for FC Copenhagen fullback Ludwig Augustinsson.
The Swede's form at the U21 Euros this summer attracted enquiries from Liverpool, Aston Villa and Roma.
A Championship club has made an offer for Augustinsson, but it was turned down.
"No, this will not be necessary. There are many who are very interested but it's only right that a player who has had a season like Ludwig, shoots higher," agent Per Jonsson told fotbolldirekt.se.
"But he has four years left on his contract, so it is crystal clear that it requires big money for a club to buy him."
