Myhill: Spirit great amongst West Brom keepers

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Boaz Myhill says there's great spirit amongst the club's shot-stoppers.

Wales international stopper Myhill says the spirit within Steve Clarke's goalkeeping contingent is both friendly and competitive.

"I had a congratulatory text message from Ben (Foster) as soon as the game finished, which was nice," Myhill told the Albion website after featuring in victory over Chelsea.

"We get on very well, as I do with Luke Daniels and our coach Dean Kiely.

"We have a good set of keepers so it's a joy to come into work. The sessions are bubbly and we have a good camaraderie.

"Everyone wants to play but you have to earn the right to get into the team.

"I get the same opportunity as everyone else.

"It gets harder to get in the team every year the way things are going here but that's credit to Dan Ashworth, the chairman and the management.

"I try to do what I have to do to help the team win.
