Hull City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill will miss the club's tour to Asia after sustaining a thumb injury.

The Wales international will not travel to China with the Tigers but is expected to be right when the team meets Scottish club Aberdeen in the second week of August.

"Boaz has injured his thumb and will not be travelling to Beijing, " said Brown.

"Hopefully he'll be back in training on Monday or Tuesday when we return from China in time for the Aberdeen game (on Sunday 9th August)."
