Myhill confident holding Hull place

Boaz Myhill is confident he can be Hull City's No1 goalkeeper.

Asked if he is good enough to make the step-up to the Premier League, Myhill is typically honest.

"I don't know, you can't answer that question if you've never played there" he told the Hull Daily Mail. "All I can say is that I've earned the right to play there.

"I personally hope to do it and I believe I can. But as for a definitive answer, I can't give one yet.

"I haven't finished at this club yet. The manager set out a challenge to us the other day and it was all about how you will be remembered when you leave the club. That was spot on.

"The promotions have gone now and I want to do what a lot of people have done and that's to play a lot of games in the Premier League.

"That starts here. We've got the chance to keep this club in the Premier League and to keep the progress going.

"Backing yourself is key but you have to prepare yourself to be bang on every week."
