Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has conceded that his goal celebrations during the 4-3 win over Arsenal were premature.
After conceding the opening goal, the Reds raced to a 4-1 lead by the 63rd minute of the match, but the Gunners clawed their way back into the game by scoring two goals in the next 12 minutes.
Regarding his celebrations after Adam Lallana's and Sadio Mane's goals, Klopp said: "We came out, scored wonderful goals and then I made a big mistake as I was involved in celebrations – that will happen one or two times in my life hopefully, but not so early in a game because it was the wrong sign for all of us.
"It felt for everybody in that moment 'that's it' but then you have a look at the watch and see there's still half an hour to go and that's not too good.
"Arsenal fought back, showed character, scored the goals, we defended not so good, but then after their third goal we were back in the race and compact again."
