Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu has seen his £14.6m fine, to be paid to Chelsea, by the Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS] suspended.

Reports coming out of Romania this evening are suggesting that the Fiorentina man has won a provisional reprieve after an appeal.

"This is a temporary suspension of the decision taken by the Swiss Federal Court," Victor Becali, the player's agent, revealed.
