Mutti named new Atalanta coach

Bortolo Mutti has been named new coach of Atalanta.

Mutti is a popular choice among Atalanta's fans having played for the club as a striker between 1981 and 1984, scoring 24 goals in 94 appearances, as the Orobici conquered promotion from Serie C1 to Serie A. He becomes Atalanta's third coach for the season.

Mutti's last job came with Salernitana in December 2008. He replaced Fabrizio Castori only to get the sack after just five games.
