Mustafi eager to continue 21-game unbeaten run with Arsenal

Shkodran Mustafi contributed to yet another win in his fledgling Arsenal career on Sunday.

The German centre-back made his 21st Arsenal appearance in the home fixture with Burnley, scoring his first goal for the club in the eventual 2-1 triumph.

Unbeaten Mustafi has been involved in 15 wins and six draws with the Gunners and after learning of that stat, is determined to continue adding to those numbers.

He said: "I hope there are a few more coming than 21!

"I am happy, it is important to go game by game and try to win, it doesn't matter if it is the Premier League or the cup or the Champions League.

"That is what we have been doing and that is why are dangerous until the end - because we believe in ourselves and go from game to game until the end."

Andre Gray equalised for Burnley with a 93rd-minute penalty, after Granit Xhaka had been sent off on 65 minutes, before Alexis Sanchez stepped up and finished a cool 'panenka' to win it for the Gunners.
