Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera is delighted with his progress in the World Cup with Uruguay.
Muslera is pleased with his form in South Africa.
"Every game I played in this World Cup made me increasingly aware of my strength and my abilities," he told the Corriere dello Sport.
"Next season I want to put in a fantastic campaign in Italy.
"Uruguay have done very well in the tournament and let's not forget Holland's second goal against us was offside. Robin van Persie was clearly interfering with play, as he stopped me from seeing the trajectory of the ball."
Lazio's transfer situation is in flux, but Muslera seems to be only of the only certainties.
"I may be in South Africa, but I am getting daily updates on what is happening at Lazio.
"I think the club is working well and new signing Mark Bresciano looks a fine player to me."
