Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray was delighted to be part of their FA Cup win at Dover Athletic.
Murray returned in Sunday's 4-0 FA Cup win against Dover, playing the first half before coming off with an ankle injury.
Luckily, the damage was not serious and Murray is available to face Tottenham on Saturday despite not being in Palace's 25-man Premier League squad. The Premier League relax their rules on squad lists during the transfer window and Murray is pushing for a start against Spurs.
"The Palace fans are very special and they always give me a warm welcome," he said. "He [Pardew] is a brilliant appointment, what he has done in the game speaks for itself. Everyone is pleased he is here."
