Fulham skipper Danny Murphy expects to sign a new deal.

Contract talks have been dragging on amid fears the influential midfielder would be released this summer.

But Murphy, 35, said he expects to sign a new deal at Craven Cottage, he said: "I have spoken to the club a couple of times but there's no great urgency with me because I'm happy and they are happy with me. I'd be surprised if it didn't get sorted."
