Arsenal's England U17 star Rhys Murphy is delighted to have shaken off his injuries to have made a scoring comeback for the reserves last week against Portsmouth.

"The season started well for me but then I got injured," Murphy told Arsenal.com. "Things like this can happen but from the off I tried to focus on getting back fit and being better than before.

"There were a few occasions where I nearly let it get me down but I had a lot of good people around me. My parents kept telling me to stay positive and that I must keep an eye on my goal and reach the light at the end of the tunnel."
