Sulley Muntari has warned Celtic that AC Milan can play a tough brand of football if they have to.

The Rossoneri host the Scottish champions in their opening Champions League group stage match at the San Siro on Wednesday night and midfielder Muntari suggest Massimiliano Allegri's men will be prepared to get their kits dirty against a determined visiting Bhoys outfit.

"Just because we have players who will play attractive football it does not mean we can't play tough. Celtic should not think if they want to play tough we can't do it," he said.

"Myself and Nigel De Jong are there to make life difficult for the Celtic midfield and attack.

"Before they even think about getting to our defenders they have to get through us. Believe me we will not make it easy for them."
