Stoke defender Marc Muniesa says he is prepared to be patient and wait for his chance to play in the first-team. The 21-year-old former Barcelona player finds his path to a starting spot in the Premier League is currently blocked by established duo Ryan Shawcross and Roberto Huth.
"I'm very happy to be here at Stoke," he told the club's official website. "I played two games in the Capital One Cup, but in the league at the moment I don't have the opportunity.
"I'm patient because I know the opportunity will arrive and I'm working to have these opportunities.
"I'm looking forward to playing in the Britannia Stadium with all the supporters and I want to do the best for this team."
