Stoke City defender Marc Muniesa is happy with his chance at centre-back this season.
The 22-year-old Catalan was considered a left-back when he arrived at Stoke at the start of last season, but was always convinced central defence was his natural calling.
"I always said to Mark Hughes and his staff that I played centre-back, but for me it was difficult in a new league and a new style of football," he told The Sentinel.
"So last year was for learning and maybe that was easier at left-back, but this season Mark gave me a chance at centre back and I think I've showed everybody I can play there."
