The mother of Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas says her son is staying grounded over the frenzied transfer speculation swirling around him.

Chelsea, Swansea City and Valencia have all been linked with the prolific forward this season.

"Iago is now happy in Vigo. We'll see what happens, but right now his dream is to enjoy and play for Celta in the Primera, which is what he's wanted since childhood. He himself often says he does not pay much attention to what they say.

"You hear so many things, sometimes they are rumors, some not, but it's an honor to see his name linked with these teams."
